Ms. Sascha

Sascha has become this cute “little” dog that roams around the house doing the most interesting things.  I’ve found that she has the same mind set as the rest of the engineering types that live in my house.  She learns one way to do things and she has a really hard time doing it any other way.

During dinner, she insists on lying next to Rich.  That’s so she can put out one paw and touch him all throughout dinner.  I’m not sure what that gets her.  I think she’s trying to ensure that he remembers she is there at the end of the meal with any leftovers.

Speaking of paws, Sascha has become the mascot for Rich’s latest creation.  He has a citrus-based American pale ale.  It is very, very nice.  Now I need to get a label made up with Sascha on it. Those paws of hers are impressive in size and roughness.

Lately, she spends the day inside sleeping so quietly.  She prefers to sleep under Rich’s desk with her head propped up on the wheels of his chair.  It looks very uncomfortable to me, but she seems to enjoy it.

See, doesn't that look uncomfortable? It seems to be her favorite way to sleep.

See. That's quite a paw.
