We left for the office this morning with an intact yard.\u00a0 I bounced Rick out of bed early to go vote with us.\u00a0 I say bounced because I unleashed the energy of Sascha on him.\u00a0 She lands on you with both feet and bounces around the bed before she settles down.\u00a0 By that time, Rick was somewhat awake and it was safe to enter the room.<\/p>\n
This was Rick\u2019s first time to vote.\u00a0 Yesterday, they were passing out Rock the Vote shirts at the college.\u00a0 Rick picked up one and had it one for this occasion.\u00a0 We entered the village hall and gave our names to the attendants at the table.\u00a0 It\u2019s easy.\u00a0 We are the last ones in the book.\u00a0 One of the judges took Rick aside to explain the process to vote in this precinct.\u00a0 Rich took a picture of Rick when he came out of the hall after voting.\u00a0 It was a proud day.<\/p>\n
Work was a day of meetings and talking to people.\u00a0 I ran a lunch time meeting with food provided.\u00a0 By the time I was done at 2:00, I was DONE.\u00a0 There is only so much up close and personal that I can handle in a day.\u00a0 Luckily, Rich was ready to go early, too.<\/p>\n
We drove up to the house and found a stack of wood in the backyard.\u00a0 The contractor or subcontractor had dropped the forms off for the foundation.\u00a0 This looks like the beginning of something big.\u00a0 That\u2019s big as in a garage.<\/p>\n
I plan to take a picture every day from the same location to show the garage taking shape.\u00a0 I\u2019ve decided to stand in the garage door looking out to the construction site.\u00a0 Hopefully, this gives me some perspective and shows the structure.\u00a0 Follow along as we raise a garage.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, I captured pictures of Sascha sleeping in the office as I worked.\u00a0 As she sleeps, Sascha crosses her paws, even when she is lying on her side.\u00a0 It\u2019s so cute.\u00a0 Just as cute as when she is sharing the big red chair with Dad.\u00a0 I also got a shot of Rich and Sascha in the chair the other day.\u00a0 This time it was from the back.\u00a0 Sascha is hanging over the top.\u00a0 It was cute, too!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/a><\/a><\/a>
