{"id":273,"date":"2011-10-30T19:30:48","date_gmt":"2011-10-31T00:30:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.zurekbrau.com\/blogs\/richsblog\/?p=273"},"modified":"2011-10-30T19:30:48","modified_gmt":"2011-10-31T00:30:48","slug":"getting-to-know-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zurekbrau.com\/blogs\/richsblog\/?p=273","title":{"rendered":"Getting to know you"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I thought about what I might say in my blog today.\u00a0 Yes, Rich took Sascha out\u00a0for a run today.\u00a0 However, I didn&#8217;t film any of it\u00a0nor did I even watch today&#8217;s run.\u00a0 I know, that was bad of me.\u00a0 But I thought about what is really going on deep down between Sascha and my family.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a little over 3\u00a0months since we&#8217;ve adopted Sascha as\u00a0 a member of our family.\u00a0 She is begining to put her pawprints all over us.\u00a0 It started out slow enough, but we have each been\u00a0affected differently by her goal to make us her own.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>First, there is the insidous one paw, two paw, whole dog ploy.\u00a0 This is her favorite thing to do to Rich.\u00a0 Sascha leans against him as he sits in his chair reading the paper in the evenings.\u00a0 She puts one paw in\u00a0his lap and he barely notices her.\u00a0 Pretty soon, there are two paws followed by the entire dog in his lap.\u00a0 Rich manages to turn her over on her back to\u00a0 rub her tummy.\u00a0 After that, she gently paws his face from time to time as if asking for something.\u00a0 We may never know what she expects though.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Rick loves to play pull with one of her toys.\u00a0 She has a flat fox that she loves to nibble on and roll all over.\u00a0 When Rick sits in Rich&#8217;s office chair, Sascha makes no pretense about being a lap dog.\u00a0 She just crawls directly into his\u00a0lap and expects the pets to accompany this.\u00a0 For that matter, Sascha doesn&#8217;t care where Rick sits, she will be in his lap no matter what!<\/p>\n<p>As I work in the office, Sascha moves around the house, finding several places to stretch out.\u00a0 But as soon as I get up, she is right by my side nugding me in the direction she wants me to go.\u00a0 That&#8217;s the thing about Sascha.\u00a0 She has great herding instincts and uses them most on me!<\/p>\n<p>Sascha has another characteristic about her.
