I knew I was going to have trouble writing a blog too many days in a row.\u00a0 It’s not that my life isn’t interesting.\u00a0 It’s just not interesting enough for print.\u00a0 I knew I wasn’t going to keep up with this like\u00a0Rose does with her Daisy blog.\u00a0 Rose does a nice job with her http:\/\/www.curiousdaisy.com\/wordpress\/<\/a>\u00a0blog.\u00a0 (Insert Zurek family plug here.)\u00a0 Oh well, once in a while I’ll put something up.\u00a0 I guess I wait until Rich, Rick, or Sascha do something interesting.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Anyway, Rick was home today starting his Christmas vacation.\u00a0 I was working at home and keeping very busy.\u00a0 Rick went out and brought in lunch so I wouldn’t have to stop.\u00a0 Later in the day, he was watching a cheaply produced movie on SyFy.\u00a0 I walk through the living room and there he is with Sascha in Dad’s chair.\u00a0 They looked comfy and cozy.\u00a0 Sascha didn’t even want me to pet her.\u00a0 Well, I just had to take a picture of them.<\/p>\n

Last Saturday, we invited some people over for a casual evening.\u00a0 Mostly, this was to get rid of the Pumpkin ale left over from Thanksgiving.\u00a0 We had appetizers and sat at the bar talking.\u00a0 It was a nice time.\u00a0 Our friend, Jay, brought over his dog, Guiness.\u00a0 This was the first time Sascha had another dog on her territory.\u00a0 She did well and only tried to herd Guiness a couple of times.\u00a0 Mostly, Sascha occupied herself going from person to person and hanging in their laps to be petted.\u00a0 Such an attention getter.\u00a0\u00a0Every time I looked at her, Sascha is hanging on someone.\u00a0 Once, she\u00a0was standing up with her front paws and her head laying in Cathy’s lap and the next time she is\u00a0Diane’s face trying to get attention!\u00a0 Needless to say, she was very, very tired the next day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
