Here are a couple of interesting facts about Rock &amp; Rye. First the Rock in Rock &amp; Rye is Rock Candy and the Rye in Rock &amp; Rye is Rye Whiskey. Maybe next time I will not add the lime.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Wait is over<\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3943\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3943\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/zurekbrau.com\/blogs\/richsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/14.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3943 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/zurekbrau.com\/blogs\/richsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/14.jpg\" alt=\"14\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zurekbrau.com\/blogs\/richsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/14.jpg 640w, https:\/\/zurekbrau.com\/blogs\/richsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/14-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3943\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Then strain and put back in a bottle.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h4>Tasting Notes<\/h4>\n<p>It has a smooth and full mouth feel.\u00a0 The color is reddish from the dried cherries.\u00a0 There is no noticeable Rye Whiskey bite it is masked by rock candy and spices.\u00a0 The dried cherries give it a little musty character which the citrus fruits counter act with their bright flavors. The lime really comes through.\u00a0 The flavor is reminiscent of cough medicine but I would rather drink this than take cough medicine.\u00a0 Looking forward to trying this the next time I get a cold or sore throat.
