I can’t believe that Spring has come to stay.\u00a0 I know that is going to change in a day or so here, but even that will seem like Spring!\u00a0 I’ve been enjoying my Spring evenings.\u00a0 It’s nice enough to be outside and do a few things.\u00a0 I’m trying to hold back on any gardening just yet.<\/p>\n
Last week, we were able to sit outside and eat on our family dinner night.\u00a0 Normally, Rich is all against eating al fresco.\u00a0 I don’t think it’s just the bugs.\u00a0 I think it’s the wind and so much going on around you.\u00a0 We were lucky though, and he agreed to sit out at Snuggery, which sits right on the river.\u00a0 It was windy with a few bugs, but very nice.<\/p>\n
And the wonderful weather continued this week.\u00a0 I talked the guys into my favorite Mexican place, which allows you to sit along the river.\u00a0 Actually, El Puerto is on one of the chain of lakes.\u00a0 I love their Pink margarita.\u00a0 It sounds girly, but it is really good.\u00a0 Rich ordered a pitcher.\u00a0 I should have known I was in trouble then.<\/p>\n
Rich has a motto:\u00a0 No alcohol left behind.\u00a0 This means you can’t leave the table until all alcoholic beverages are consumed.\u00a0 I was doing a good job of helping before the food arrived.\u00a0 I was only feeling the tequila a little bit.\u00a0 After dinner, we continued to work on the pitcher and I really began to feel it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Luckily, Rick was along and could drive us home.\u00a0 What will I do when he is gone?\u00a0<\/p>\n
We made it home.\u00a0 Rich was on his computer and I got caught up on some of my recorded TV.\u00a0 Pretty soon, bed sounded like a good thing.\u00a0 Even Sascha thought it was a good idea and scooted off before I could get up.<\/p>\n
I awoke only one in the night and thought I should never drink that much tequila again.\u00a0 I went back to sleep and had pleasant dreams.\u00a0 Next time, Rich can finish that pitcher all by himself.\u00a0 Or take help with him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
