I am a Writer.

I always wanted to be a writer. In Second Grade, the teacher passed out lined paper and told us to write a story about our pet. Then she passed out a manila sheet of paper with crayons so you could draw a picture to go with the story. A good story needs a graphic.

Writing has never been a chore for me. I can write about anything. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English with no clue what I was going to do with it. I don’t have the great American novel in me, but I still write. Some years ago, I found structured writer for technical content and became a paid writer.  I love to convert complex engineering content into simple English for the users.  It became a passion and my career.

With retirement, I have discovered that I still love to write.  Now I can write whatever content I want without limits on word choices or format. I am still a writer at heart.

Joys of Travel with a Plan

I am a traveler who loves to plan. Each trip has a bucket list of what to do, what to see, and where to go. If need be, we throw away the plan.

What Did I Write Today

Writing is no longer a career, but a vocation. I can write about whatever I want. There is a lot I need to say and get down on “paper.”

Ways of Whiskey Blog

My husband started me on the journey to learn about whiskey and we travel together. No longer the designated driver, I am the designated drinker.
